Mercedes goes Electric (Again) with the EQC 4MATIC

As many of your will know, the new Mercedes-Benz EQC 4MATIC electric car here with prices starting at £65,640 OTR for the EQC 400 4MATIC Sport. The good news is that insurance premiums for this vehicle from pluginsure, underwritten by the UK’s third largest insurer, Ageas, will available soon.

In the meantime, here’s a brief introduction to the vehicle and the trim levels on offer. Don’t forget, this is not Mecerdes’ first foray into the UK electric car market as the Mercedes Benz B Class Electric Drive has been around since 2015 and you can get an online quote for this with us today!

The EQC is, however, the first fully-electric vehicle from Mercedes-Benz’s new EQ brand. It is powered by an 80 kWh lithium-ion battery which has a range of 259 miles and can travel from 0 to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds with a top speed of 111 mph. It features MBUX multimedia system which has numerous EQ-specific functions such as range display, charge status and energy flow. The trim levels available are:

AMG Line

AMG Line Premium
