The smart EQ forfour is designed to provide urban mobility for up to four people. Time has been taken to ensure that the seats provide comfort with thought being given to intelligent design and storage solutions to maximise room in the cabin. The vehicle benefits from the swift acceleration common in electric cars as well as a tight turning circle.

Standard specification on all smart EQ models includes rear parking aid, touchscreen infotainment and automatic climate control. Connectivity is enhanced by the Bluetooth smartphone link that features Android Auto or Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink technology, plus a DAB digital radio. The infotainment system also features a Charge Spot Finder, letting you know where the nearest EV charging stations are located.

The smart EQ forfour was initially available in four different trim levels, standard, passion, perfect and prime. Buyers of the latest version of the vehicle can choose from three trim levels. The entry level Passion Advanced has 15-inch alloy wheels and cruise control. The next model up is the Pulse Premium which comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, twin sunroofs and a reversing camera. The top-of-the-range spec Prime Exclusive benefits from LED front and rear lights, fog lights with a cornering function, rain-sensing wipers and ambient interior lighting.

The electric driving range in the EQ forfour is just under 80 miles and the EQ forfour can be charged at home using a Wallbox, where it will take less than 3.5 hours to reach 80 percent of battery capacity. Alternatively, you can use a rapid charger which will charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in under 40 minutes.
